The position reports to the Associate General Counsel (Default Servicing) and is responsible for providing legal advice relating to property valuation, preservation and inspection, settlement, short sales and deed-in-lieu, trustee, non-legal processing and other mortgage components is required. Understanding and ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local foreclosure and bankruptcy laws, rules and regulations governing mortgage default servicing and asset disposition.
