This position will serve as a key legal advisor to the Global Merchant Services business unit (“GMS”) with a focus on providing legal support and legal advice on transactions and business strategy to the Merchant Financing program and the GMS Risk Management staff group. In addition, the position provides strategic legal support to the Risk Management Team’s Global Airline Center of Excellence with a focus on commercial insolvency issues. The position will support American Express’ ongoing investment in programs that add value to our merchant base and evolving risk management capabilities.
