The Privacy Officer (PO) will be responsible for ensuring the Contractor’s adherence to the ASO Contract’s Privacy Office provisions. The PO will be a Director and report to the Director, Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer. Working with the Compliance Department, the PO also oversees activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to existing Company policies and procedures applicable to the privacy of and access to the protected health information (PHI) of the Company’s members/insured, employees and other members of its workforce and the protection of sensitive personal information used and maintained by the Company in the conduct of its business in compliance with federal and state laws and the Company’s privacy policies and procedures.
