Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, the Corporate Attorney is the principal lawyer handling employment matters and providing legal advice and support to corporate and business unit human resources (HR) departments regarding: (1) compliance with applicable employment laws; (2) negotiating and drafting employment agreements and compensation and benefits policies; (3) providing training on employment law issues; (4) managing employment litigation and handling agency proceedings; (5) supervising outside counsel and contract lawyers; and (6) reviewing and drafting commercial contracts as necessary. We are currently seeking a Corporate Attorney based out of our Corporate office in Oak Brook, Illinois. Assist HR in interpreting and complying with federal and state employment laws, rules and practices.
