The primary functions of the role are to provide legal and regulatory guidance (both internally and with external regulators) with respect to certain key business expansion and regulatory compliance aspects of the business, particularly expansion of global access to group trading platforms and other services in prioritized non-US jurisdictions as well as management of certain key regulatory processes, particularly the rule submission process as well as market maker and trading incentive programs. As such, this role will service internal and external stakeholders who have questions about acceptable practices, regulatory requirements, and other foreign access issues. The role will manage and coordinate applications for registered status in those jurisdictions, as well as oversee ongoing reporting obligations, to ensure company compliance with all foreign regulatory and legal requirements pertaining to the foregoing initiatives.
