This Senior Legal Counsel position represents a great opportunity for broad responsibility as an integral part of the Legal matrixed team, with assignment as primary operations counsel for organization. While this position will be based at our Downers Grove, Illinois office location, it will require routine travel to home office location in Sacramento and occasionally to campuses throughout the United States (approx. 20%). In addition to other duties, the successful candidate will participate as a senior member of the management teams of Chamberlain College of Nursing and Carrington College, working directly with their executive teams and institutional Boards of Trustees to understand strategic initiatives and business needs, providing legal and business counsel, and establishing and influencing appropriate ethical standards and legal considerations, which must be taken into account when decisions are made.
