The General Counsel is responsible for delivering legal expertise and services through the Company including planning and directing all aspects of company's legal affairs and ensuring maximum protection of its legal rights. Provides advice in the areas of Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplements (DFARS), and laws and regulations affecting international contracts, such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Works with Departments on risk contract reviews; identifies potential legal risks and develops appropriate mitigation strategies.
