Oversee and advise on matters of corporate governance, contracts, insurance, risk management, leases, real estate, and land use. Monitor and manage any litigation, or disputes which may give rise to litigation, including responding to subpoenas and working with outside counsel. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing the operation of a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, including by fulfilling the filing and registration requirements for charitable registrations for fundraising activities. Manage corporate insurance policies for the organization, including general liability, directors & officers, fiduciary liability, professional and media liability, and other such policies.
