Responsible for providing legal advice on a broad range of issues including advertising and promotion, employment and labor relations, healthcare law compliance, mergers and acquisitions, product distribution, business contract negotiation and litigation. Providing legal support to all division functions, including Marketing, Human Resources, Research and Development, Medical Education, Sales, Operations, Business Development and Quality/Regulatory, including anticipating issues and providing legal perspective and advice that enables management to make business decisions. Negotiating, drafting and finalizing distribution agreements, supply agreements, clinical study agreements, research agreements, grant agreements, fellowships, charitable donation agreements, services agreements, sales agreements, healthcare provider consulting agreements and non-disclosure agreements; advising on business law issues including contract interpretation and requirements; advising on marketing initiatives; and providing perspective on various other legal issues and obligations.
