Support the General Counsel, Europe & Americas and Head of Government Investigations, in material legal matters, including: • Manage legal cases involving claims against the Bank and/or its employees involving potential material impact on the Bank from either a reputational, regulatory, financial or litigation perspective (or any combination of the same); • Play a leadership role and manage teams in government investigations and civil litigation; • Provide advice on developing effective strategies to manage legal and regulatory issues; • Provide counsel, support and collaboration to Legal and Compliance (L&C) and Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) teams as required; • Direct and work with outside counsel and other vendors as required; • Assess and seek to improve Bank policies and procedures from a legal perspective; and • Lead and advise teams to ensure appropriate dispute resolution.
