Under the direction of the Vice President for Advocacy & General Counsel, this position is responsible for handling a variety of responsibilities within the General Counsel’s Office related to compliance with US Agency for International development (USAID) and other donors regulations and other applicable laws, as well as responsibilities related to international and domestic business transactions for the company and its affiliated organizations. Provides legal advice on a range of topics typically related to legal compliance and contracting issues. Conducts legal research and investigation on potential claims and defenses; develops oral and written advice and presents recommendations to management.
