The General Counsel is responsible for leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives. The General Counsel is a business partner that provides senior management with effective advice on company strategies and their implementation and oversees the work of outside counsel. Examples of day-to-day legal matters would include complex contract negotiations, regulatory issues, employment, litigation, data security, privacy, governance and board-related matters. This role will require interaction with a wide range of internal and external contacts, including senior management, and requires excellent communication and people skills.
