The Corporate Compliance Counsel reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and plays a pivotal role in ensuring that company is compliant with federal, state and local statutes, regulations and rules pertaining to the company’s operations as a pharmaceutical company, including but not limited to the company’s marketing and promotional activities. The Corporate Compliance Counsel will assist the Chief Compliance Officer in defining compliance standards via policies and procedures, training, auditing and monitoring, responding to reports of alleged compliance violations, and conducting compliance-related investigations. Assist in development and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures to ensure an effective compliance program throughout the organization.
