The General Counsel will oversee all legal matters and serve as the primary legal advisor to the CEO, the organization’s senior leadership team, and the Board of Trustees. The incumbent in this role will be responsible to provide legal advice and alternative solutions across the globally dispersed organization in order to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations. This newly established role within the Internet Society will report to the President/CEO and be an integral part of the Leadership Team.
