Reporting to the EVP and General Counsel, provides legal advice with respect to lawsuits, claims, labor disputes, EEOC matters, unemployment, benefits, wage and hour laws, and other employment matters. Manages employment litigation and claims asserted against the System and develops and implements strategies for resolving labor and employment claims and lawsuits in a cost-effective manner. Investigates and persuasively responds to the EEOC and various state agencies regarding charges of discrimination pursuant to Title VII, including harassment, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
