The General Counsel will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance globally for company across a wide range of areas including corporate structure, corporate registration and filings, employment issues, tax matters, and contract reviews/adherence. Given that this is a new role, the General Counsel will also be responsible for implementing new organizational systems and processes both in Boston and also in our field offices with the end goal of legal compliance. Human resource/employment issues including hiring/firing processes/documentation, tax matters, releases for volunteers and event participants, and review of policies and procedures
compliance with non-profit rules and regulations.
