Under the general direction of an Associate General Counsel, the Assistant General Counsel is responsible for essentially all aspects of legal representation for one or more regions within Medical Services. Specifically, the Assistant General Counsel I, under general guidance from manager or Assistant General Counsel II, reviews and prepares contracts and other legal documents, conducts research, provides legal opinions and advice to other Law Department attorneys and company personnel within the company, and assists corporate litigators in potential litigation matters.
