Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors, the Chief Legal Counsel is responsible for directing the organization’s legal activities to ensure the organization is protected from unnecessary litigation. This position is very involved with the development and modification of policies and procedures to ensure compliance, as well as to review contracts and negotiations with outside vendors. Minimum of four (4) years licensed to practice law in the state of Texas, or another state jurisdiction in the United States. Experience in healthcare law preferred.
