As General Counsel, successful candidates will have 10-15+ years of experience, including previous in-house experience, preferably with a scientific or medical company and deep regulatory knowledge including FDA regulations, HIPAA, GINA, state genetics laws, laws and regulations applicable to laboratories (CLIA, etc.) and best practices. The General Counsel will be the primary legal touch point for all company operations, including non-disclosure agreements, third-party contracts and data licenses, and hands-on oversight of its regulatory submissions, informed consent, and quality assurance. J.D. from a top tier law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. state.
