The Staff Counsel supports the Department's functions including contract review and negotiation, regulatory compliance, general legal issues, and other duties as designated. An essential element of all functions will to be to stay up-to-date on current state and federal regulatory requirements applicable to the areas of responsibility through self-study, and participation and/or attendance in ongoing education or seminars. Prior experience in healthcare field with experience in healthcare and research contracting and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
