The Corporate Counsel will serve as the primary legal contact for three Business Units in North America, and provides primary legal support on US contracts for global groups. For these Business Units, the incumbent will perform all commercial and transactional legal tasks; regularly keep apprised of and report to the Legal Department regarding the Business Units’ activities; and receive requests of a more specialized nature and either handle them directly or delegate to the Legal team member with that responsibility. The Corporate Counsel will also serve as lead for matters involving Mexican counsel.
