Under direction the direction of the CEO and Board, provides legal, risk management, contracting and compliance services for Company; functions as assigned legal counsel in various patient care and legal matters; directs medical-legal operations. Provides legal services for the company; manages professional medical malpractice; liability lawsuits; and serves as primary contact of professional counsel; performs internal investigation of liability incidents; represents staff requested to give depositions and/or testimony; assists staff involved in medical-legal, licensure, and other patient care-related issues as necessary. Has primary responsibility for drafting, reviewing and maintaining physician and organization contracts.
