As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Senior General Counsel position requires an experienced healthcare attorney to manage all of company’s legal and regulatory compliance matters, including contracting, state and federal regulatory compliance, litigation, enterprise risk management, and outside counsel, and has expertise in HIPAA/HITECH and the Medicare Part D Fraud, Waste and Abuse requirements. The General Counsel provides cross-functional legal leadership, and identifies and provides recommendations and employee education on legal issues applicable to the business so that business, legal and compliance objectives are met. The Sr. General Counsel serves as the chief legal advisor on complex business projects, analyzes complex issues and concepts in a timely fashion, and stays current on all federal and state legal developments affecting the industry.
