The position of Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs will be responsible for providing legal support for complex transactions involving licensing and distributing film and TV content to distributors (Internet and mobile), MVPDs (cable, telco and satellite providers), digital media and technology companies and other third parties across multiple distribution platforms. Substantial experience working on content acquisition and content distribution transactions at a major studio, TV network, digital media or technology company is highly preferred. The position also will provide legal advice and counsel relating to technology licensing, information security, content protection, antipiracy, government regulations, corporate and commercial transactions and employment matters, among other areas.
