As part of the Government Affairs team, the position takes the lead role in promoting company’s legislative interests in the state legislative arena, focusing on state legislative issues for company, largely in the gulf coast region (Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia. The position also coordinates with the company’s Southeast Communications hub, based in Geismar, Louisiana, to ensure that external affairs (government and community relations) efforts are aligned and coordinated to speak in “one voice” for the company. The position is critical in representing the interests of the company in the states where the company has high investment, especially Louisiana.
