Counsel reports to the Director of Claims Technical Operations and provides legal counsel and guidance to the Claims department and its leadership as needed by keeping up with regulatory requirements and performing legal research. The Claims Counsel also provides other ad hoc support to the department where legal advice and input is needed including liaising with other departments. Direct responsibility for providing coverage opinions, legal research and legal support to the Claims department leadership and Claim staff.
