Specific duties include managing litigation directly as well as managing a team of legal professionals; engagement and oversight of outside counsel; and reporting of status and risk to executive management and auditors. A general commercial litigation background, including direct handling of litigation through trial and appeal, and first chair trial experience is required for this position. Experience in class action litigation and financial institutions defense work is highly desirable.
