Proactively advises and provides legal services to company management in all of the wide ranging areas where business legal issues arise - government, international and commercial contract issues, organization and personnel, real estate, licensing, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, environmental, and other compliance matters. Coordinates, creates, implements, motivates, directs, and manages the department and employees within Legal. Ensures that the business is in compliance and ethical within corporate and governmental directives, policies, regulations, and laws in its transactions to protect the company against potential claims and litigation.
