Position will manage claims recovery matters on behalf of the company including, without limitation, preparation of filings, reports and motions; conducting court and jury trials; will manage outside counsel for bankruptcies; will provide legal advice to the business units on claims and bankruptcy matters. Draft pleadings and discovery in all claims recovery cases, and litigate those cases through trial and appeal, as appropriate. Management of civil cases including all litigation deadlines for pleadings and discovery. Delegation of assignments to litigation paralegal and legal assistant.
