Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Counsel is responsible for leading company’s strategic and tactical legal initiatives, as well as all oversight and implementation of legal compliance across the network. The General Counsel provides ongoing legal counsel related to the organization’s endeavors and operations, as well as strategic counsel to the senior management teams of the Organization and the Board of Directors regarding the legal impact of organizational operations, decisions and negotiations. This position also coordinates, maintains and manages relationships with multiple paid and pro bono outside legal service providers, and will eventually build and manage a legal department team.
