The Staff Counsel will be a member of the leadership team and will actively participate in the company’s continued growth. He or she will be broadly responsible for the legal affairs of the Trust and will serve as legal advisor to the Executive Director and Program Managers, as well as serving as Secretary of The Board of Directors. Staff Counsel will oversee intellectual property matters, risk management, contract negotiations and drafting, partner relations, partner reporting, research, and will counsel on major transactions. Staff Counsel will also work to ensure that The Trust is in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, including HIPAA and HITECH.
