The incumbent reports directly to the University Board of Trustees and functions under the general direction of the President who provides direction with assignments in terms of broadly defined missions or functions. As the Chief Legal Officer and member of the Presidential Executive Cabinet, the General Counsel will provide advice and support to the University’s Board of Trustees, President, and Administration. Provides legal consultation to the Board of Trustees (BOT), the President and other officers and officials of the University.
