The Chief Legal Officer serves the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors (including hospital boards of directors) and shareholder group to help to guide the strategic direction of the company, including implementation of Future Model, expansion into new markets (including international) and alternate delivery systems. The CLO is responsible for managing a team of attorneys engaged in advertising clearance, contract drafting and review, compliance and employment law. Hands-on day-to-day advising of internal clients in multiple departments and multiple locations on issues involving risk management, compliance, vendor negotiations, hospital and physician management.
