The Vice President Associate General Counsel, Originations will serve as in-house counsel on all aspects of originations-related mortgage operations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and will have excellent research and writing skills. Counsel business units on the legal, business, and operational issues and risks associated with mortgage operations in compliance with federal and state law. Support business units with routine guidance in the development of policies and procedures, customer-facing documents, outbound/inbound telephone scripting, and training materials. Research and analyze both federal and state mortgage-related legislation, regulations, and case law in order to provide necessary guidance regarding impact and implementation of requisite changes to business units.
