The attorney in this role shall assist the legal department by advising the US and Canada businesses on all aspects of employment law and policies. In addition, the role requires advising and training on privacy law and best practices; drafting and reviewing various forms of commercial contracts (including with respect to service provider agreements and other supplier agreements, data protection/data sharing agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.); providing advice and coordination with outside counsel with respect to tax issues, ERISA, regulatory compliance, consumer protection and other areas; managing litigation related to the aforementioned areas and being flexible to take on new areas of law as needed. This role also requires assisting in drafting new policies and refining existing policies and practices on an on-going basis and providing training and awareness within the business.
