The LCO must have the knowledge, skills and experience to identify and investigate potential issues in a variety of compliance areas. The LCO must be able to remain objective and function independently from other Company departments and its dealerships. The LCO must be detail-oriented and have experience with investigative and reporting procedures, and be expected to be skilled at communication, teamwork, writing, public-speaking, training and ethical decision-making. The LCO must have a high degree of credibility, integrity and discretion given the nature of compliance issues.
