This newly created role supporting the Life Science Division will work closely with the IP team and will be instrumental in driving strategic IP development and will be responsible for all inbound agreements pertaining to the Division. This will include agreements pertaining to R&D development, collaboration agreements, in-bound licensing agreements, material transfer agreements, manufacturing agreements and OEM arrangements. It is expected that this role will become the primary legal business partner to the Division and will partner with the dedicated legal IP lawyers to drive all legal initiatives across the Division. As this is a newly created role, job duties include the development of new forms, guidelines and policies, engagement in M&A and IP due diligence and policies pertaining to contract drafting and negotiation and contract management and over time the hiring and development of a team of lawyers.
