Organization seeks an experienced candidate for the role of General Counsel to provide advice to the senior leadership on legal issues of significant importance to the organization's policies and operations. This role negotiates, prepares, and reviews complex contracts; identifies and analyzes legal issues affecting the operations and programs; advises on the development and revision of institutional policies; and provides advice and support the Board of Trustees on matters related to governance. The General Counsel analyses a broad range of federal, state, and local laws/regulations that affect the Museum’s operations, collections, programs, fundraising, and capital projects.
