Provide legal counsel and advice to company’s business divisions on a broad variety of commercial law matters, including antitrust and price discrimination; dealer, distributor and franchisee; trade, advertising and promotion; bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and financings; direct and indirect sourcing arrangements; quality and warranty issues; sales contracts and UCC matters; commercial disputes; etc. Provide counsel and advocacy to support divisional general managers and other business leaders on a broad variety of commercial matters. Manage and resolve commercial disputes, including with vendors, preferably through effective negotiation (or mediation, arbitration or litigation, when necessary).
