The person in this role will handle a range of legal matters for cable productions and the USA and television networks relating to the development, production and exploitation of scripted and unscripted entertainment programming, including drafting and negotiating of a wide variety of entertainment contracts (e.g., production services agreements, co-production and license agreements, indemnity agreements, rights agreements and talent agreements) and handling other legal matters arising during development and production (e.g., general intellectual property counseling, rights/chain-of-title analysis, indemnification matters, guild issues, production exigencies and dispute resolution). Identify and analyze issues relating to projects in development and production. Provide timely and thoughtful legal advice on potential risks and issues, and propose practical, responsive solutions.
