A newly-created position in the Office of the General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel will provide a high level of professional legal service to the organization. This position will advise personnel on a wide array of legal issues arising in the context of higher education and will interact with members of the legal profession, outside agencies, and others as required to perform his or her job responsibilities. Areas of practice will include, but are not limited to, research compliance, contracts and transactional work, construction, real estate, student matters, employee matters, academic matters, intellectual property, athletics, risk management, and other areas as needed.
