The Assistant General Counsel, Real Estate will provide legal counsel and support to company and its brands on real estate matters, including negotiating a high volume of retail store leases and renewals for company’s 4,000+ stores in North America. The Assistant General Counsel, Real Estate will be expected to demonstrate teamwork, leadership and sound business judgment in the timely execution and administration of real estate activities in accordance with the company’s processes and guidelines. Negotiate Real Estate Transactions - Draft and negotiate a variety of retail and non-retail real estate agreements for company and its brands, including leases, subleases, guarantees, amendments, termination agreements, letters of intent, options, notices, defaults SNDAs, estoppels, assignments, franchise conversions, construction exhibits, construction and design agreements, lease buyout agreements, settlement agreements, deeds, title and escrow agreements, license agreements, and purchase and sale contracts.
