Primarily support business units with an emphasis on sales and marketing initiatives within community and specialty pharmacy and/or health systems business segments. Prepare and review various commercial contracts including pharmaceutical distribution agreements, commercial and credit transactions, purchases, sales, marketing agreements, letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, group purchasing organization and buying group agreements, and franchising agreements. Provide legal advice as to the structuring and handling of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances or combinations that the company undertakes, as well as any other business development activities that promote an expansion of the company’s distribution capabilities.
