The primary elements of the role include: (a) negotiating legal agreements and developing relationships with the major broker-dealers and trading counterparties; (b) advising businesses and leading projects to develop platforms involving new products, new fund structures or new jurisdictions, and (c) ensuring legal compliance with trading-level regulations, including Dodd-Frank and EMIR. This is a unique opportunity for a qualified lawyer to work in an international legal team, develop into a commercial, client-facing role and to develop his/her communication and relationship skills, while maintaining a focus on detailed legal analysis. Counsel in the Prime Brokerage & Trading Legal Team responsible for covering global trading arrangements for all constituent Man businesses including AHL, FRM, GLG and Numeric.
