The Assistant General Counsel will assist the General Counsel in providing legal advice and legal services regarding the legal affairs of company entities and affiliates. This attorney will provide legal services in the areas of contract review, drafting, negotiation, and management; employment law; patient financial services or managed care issues; insurance coverage and claims; public records issues; hospital operational matters; privacy; healthcare regulatory issues; state agency/administrative law; legal research; and other matters, as requested by the General Counsel. This attorney will work collaboratively with the Legal Department paralegal and staff to ensure efficient contract drafting and approval process management, and assist with the management of the Physician Arrangement Review Committee and other policies/processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
