This position is responsible for providing support to the legal department through the preparation of legal documents, review of prior art for patent prosecution purposes, and by conducting legal and factual research. This position exercises discretion and independent judgment in the preparation of legal documents and contracts. Day to day responsibilities include patent prosecution review, opinion work, product portfolio management, litigation support and senior management counseling. This position also plays a strategic role as a business partner with the company’s research and development group.
