The purpose of the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel - Business Unit Support position is to drive organizational compliance by representing the company, providing legal guidance and in-depth analysis and leading team to recommend solutions for limiting organizational exposure and liability. Provide day-to-day legal and regulatory support to executives, underwriters and support personnel of company’s Specialty business unit, which includes management liability and professional liability, Surety, A&H, trade credit, aviation, and the Specialty Program Business. Assist business unit personnel in negotiation, review and drafting of contracts with brokers and agents.
