The position of Senior Counsel, Residential Mortgage Lending and Licensing will join a team of attorneys and paralegals supporting the residential mortgage lending operations and secondary market activities, and will report to the Assistant General Counsel in charge of Lending, Originations and Capital Markets. This position will have exposure to a wide variety of management level employees in multiple Business Units throughout the Company, including Executive Management and the General Counsel. This position primarily is responsible for supporting the Company’s existing and evolving residential mortgage loan fulfillment services as they apply to various mortgage lending operations, new product development, vendor contracts and third-party relationships throughout the mortgage lifecycle, including licensing and examinations, regulatory and compliance, loan application, underwriting, origination operations, wholesale due diligence, correspondent loan purchases, loan servicing, borrower default, and loss mitigation.
