The primary objective of this role is to provide appropriate legal advice and guidance to the business wherever needed to maintain compliant products, marketing and operations and to assist the business managers to achieve their business goals and objectives. The key responsibilities involve providing legal review of deposit and lending marketing material, drafting of documents and disclosures, handling responses to customer complaints, providing legal guidance on product, fee or operational changes to existing terms, conditions and/or operations and answering general legal questions across consumer product lines. The attorney will also be expected to follow updates to laws and regulations relevant to the consumer products and businesses being supported and to report on those updates as updates become available.
