Litigation and Compliance Counsel will have several critical responsibilities, including enterprise risk management, litigation, ethics and compliance, compliance training, insurance coordination with Finance, international trade, export control, manufacturing and shipping support, and data privacy and security. In select cases, counsel will share responsibility with others in the department for specific subject matter areas. The person in this position will also advise regarding complex, post-acquisition operations, especially with respect to international compliance. Reporting to the General Counsel, the lawyer in this role must be able to think strategically and apply sound judgment to critical corporate projects.
